Will I be charged for a quote?
No — quotes are free of charge. You’ll only pay for the actual work carried out once you approve the job.
Any tips for making the most of my booking?
Yes! If you have several small jobs, it’s best to book them together in one visit. This way, you’ll make the most of your handyman’s time and keep your costs down.
What if I don’t use up all the time I have booked?
You only pay for the time we actually spend on the job. If your task finishes sooner than expected, you won’t be charged for unused time.
Do I have to provide my own materials?
For most jobs, you’ll need to supply the materials (e.g. paint, shelves, or specific fittings). Our handymen bring their own tools and fixings. If you’re not sure what’s needed, we can advise you before the visit.
Will your tradesman turn up on time?
Yes — we provide a one-hour arrival window and always do our best to be punctual. If there’s any delay due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances, we’ll keep you updated.
Should I feel safe letting your tradesman into my home?
Absolutely. All of our handymen are vetted, insured, and carry I.D. for your peace of mind. Your safety and trust are very important to us.
What happens at the end of the job?
When the work is complete, your handyman will show you a job ticket with details of what’s been done and the total cost. You’ll be asked to sign off the job, and you’ll receive an emailed receipt for your records.
What happens if I am not happy with the work you have done?
Customer satisfaction is our priority. If you’re unhappy with the work, contact us right away and we’ll arrange to put things right at no extra charge.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that you give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to adjust our bookings fairly.
Why do you need my credit card details at the time of booking?
We take card details to secure your booking. However, you won’t be charged until the job is completed. If you prefer, you can settle the final payment with a different card on the day.
